If you think you have been scammed
If a stranger called claiming to be from Microsoft, Apple, your bank, or ātech supportā and asked to connect to your computer, that is a scam. Hang up, and do not call any number they gave you.
If you already let them in: unplug the computer from the internet, call your bank if you gave out any payment details, and email us. We will get someone onto it the same day. You are not the first and you will not be judged for it.
